Where are you located? Where do I park?

How do I enter the building?
The best place to enter is the portico (drive through) located on the east (Lazy Lane) side of the building. From there, you’ll be in the Welcome Center, where our volunteers are available to help you check in your for nursery or Redeemer kids, or point you in the direction of the service or class you’re looking for.
There are also wayfinding signs throughout the building if you aren’t much for talking.

What should I expect during services?
Each of our services are slightly different, but no matter which style service you attend you will experience worship with a Lutheran congregation who is committed to Following Jesus Together.

What about Communion?
Communion is held the first, third and fifth Sundays each month at all three services. Drive-thru Communion is available on the third Sunday of every month from 12-1pm under the east portico.
We invite all visitors to speak with an Elder or Pastor prior to taking communion.
The Lord's Supper is celebrated at this congregation in the confession and confidence that, as He says, our Lord gives us not only bread and wine but His very body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with Him and with one another. Our Lord invites to His table those who trust His words and repent of all sin, that they may show forth His death until He comes. Because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith which is confessed at this altar, any who have not yet been instructed, in doubt, or who hold a confession differing from that of this congregation, and yet desire to receive the sacrament, are asked first to speak with one of the pastors. For further study, see Matthew 5:23f, 10:32f, 18:15-35, 26:26-29, 1 Cor. 11:17-34.

I have small children, do you have a nursery?
We are a family church and no amount of noise your child makes would be too much. If you would like your child to worship with you, we support that.
If you prefer, we have a nursery available during every service for children 6 months-3 years. We ask that you check your child in prior to you dropping them off in case we need to contact you while they’re with us.
-
What about Sunday School?
Redeemer Kids is our Children’s celebration time each Sunday during the 9:30am service. Children start in the sanctuary with their families and parade to the commons after the children’s message. During Redeemer Kids, your children will be taught the same topics being taught in the sermons in a kid-friendly way with songs, games, crafts and prayer time.
Redeemer Kids are for potty trained three year olds up through 5th graders. We ask that you check your children in using the computers in the Welcome Center and pick your children up in the commons after the 9:30am service has concluded.
We invite older kids to join us Sundays at 9:30am upstairs in the youth room. Sixth graders through twelfth graders are welcome.

I saved the most important question for last - what do I wear?
The short answer is - whatever you want.
In general, the 8am service leans toward traditional Sunday best and the 11am service is more casual with jeans and sneakers and our 9:30am blended service is - you guessed it - a mix of both.
All that said, we’re in Austin and you should come in what makes you feel most comfortable.
