WHY START YOUNG?

Music shapes more than musicians.

Studying music supports the whole person—strengthening how students listen, think, work, and create with others.

01COMMUNICATION

Language & listening

Music study can strengthen verbal skills and sharpen the ear for patterns, timing, and expression.

02MIND + BODY

Coordination & focus

Playing an instrument develops fine motor skills, attention, and the ability to manage several tasks at once.

03CREATIVE THINKING

Reasoning & problem-solving

Reading, interpreting, and performing music gives students repeated practice in thoughtful decision-making.

04LIFE SKILLS

Character & collaboration

Practice and performance cultivate discipline, patience, perseverance, teamwork, empathy, and self-control.

SIMPLE BY DESIGN

A steady rhythm, with something to celebrate.

Families pre-register for twelve private 30-minute lessons each semester, scheduled after school. Near the end of the school year, students are invited to share what they have learned at the Spring Showcase recital.
